In a retro-futuristic city where shapeshifter birds are persecuted and feared, Miriam, a struggling single mother, secretly brings her troubled son, Daniel, to work at the towering Bank of Avalon. When Daniel suddenly exhibits alarming signs of transformation, she’s forced to protect him before others discover his true nature.
